Winter registration starts Jan 6th (Whetstone) Jan 7th (Far East)

In order to secure you placement in class for the Winter and Spring sessions please order your costume(s) on line through the dreamingofbroadway.com website:

Far East Dancers
Whetstone Dancers

Costumes are $35 for child sizes and $40 for adult sizes. There is a small PayPal fee when ordering through the website.

The deadline to order costumes is Jan 31st.

Once you have paid for your costume, your spot will be saved and you will need to register in person at the center.

We have out grown the recreation center auditoriums and this spring we will most definitely need to rent a facility in order to accommodate 100+ dancers and 250-300 spectators. So I am asking that when you order your costume please also click on the Recital Fee Charge.

This Recital Fee charge is to help pay for the rent and any additional recital expenses that may be incurred. The goal is to raise funds per student. In an effort to keep costume prices down. This allows for your child to participate in several classes without raising your costs. If your child is in two classes, it is a $10 charge. If you have two children it is a $20 charge. To watch the recital it is free to you and your family and spectators, invite as many people as you wish to come see your child perform.

I am going to be at Whetstone on Tues Jan 7th (5 pm – 7 pm) and at Far East on Wed Jan 8th (5 pm – 7 pm) to have new leotards, tights, shoe ties and hair scrunchies to sell. I will also be trading shoes and leotards and collecting any skirts that need returned or any items that you would like to donate. The more we can get donated, the more we have on hand for trading which saves everyone money. For those of you that don’t pre-order your costume I can take your orders then too, please register first and show me your receipt. It would be wonderful if we could get all costumes ordered by Jan 10th.

The following classes have already begun to have places reserved…. the classes do fill.

I will try to offer classes in the Spring for those that do not wish to order costumes. Please let me know if this is the option you would like to take. Class times and days will be very limited. And please let me know if the expenses are a hardship right now, my goal is not to exclude any child, I want children to participate. Tell me what you want your child to participate in (classes/costumes).

P.L.A.Y. Grants are available for class fees. This grant covers $20 for one class for each child. The link to this grant is available through the website and at the centers.
