Boys in Dance

Our very own famous male dancer:

Devin Buchanan

Devin Buchanan’s bios state that he started dance at a studio in Gahanna, but he actually started dance with Miss Nicole at Far East Recreation Center. He took tap and performed in the 1998, 1999, 2000 Winter Dance Recitals and the 1998, 1999 Spring Dance Recitals. In 2001 he joined the local dance studio in Gahanna and continued his training in tap as well as ballet, jazz, hip hop and lyrical. In 2006 he moved to New York City to train with Alvin Ailey and was also chosen to move on to Vegas week on the hit show “So You Think You Can Dance.” He’s now dancing at Giordano Dance studio in Chicago! And is an instructor at the Owensboro Dance Theatre in Kentucky. He has toured Nationally in the States and Internationally in Germany and has been a guest teacher at various studios. Some say his tap choreography is unique and innovative.

I am so thrilled to know that I helped Devin learn the fundamentals to achieve his goals and dreams and his journey has been one of success.
