Costumes
Costumes are arriving and class pictures will be posted as soon as all the costumes arrive. Costumes will be passed out in class the day of scheduled picture. We will take a group picture and dancers will dance in their costumes that day. Please have your child take his/her costume off after class and take them home. Do not let your child wear them or play in them until after the recital*. Ballet students wear pink tights, Tap and Jazz Students wear tan tights. If you pre ordered tights they will be in your costume bag with the appropriate costume.
Professional costumes come in either a hanging clothes bag or a small zip up bag. If you purchased a professional costume they are yours to keep.
*Any borrowed costumes or costume accessories will be handed out in large zip lock bags with your child’s name inside. All items borrowed are to be returned the night of the recital, after the finale, in the same bag with your child’s name inside. Flapper dresses, boy’s vests, tutus, skirt overlays, hair pieces, shoes, leggings, etc.
Tights
Tights- Pre order your tights now so they will be in in time for pictures. I will have some tights available for purchase during pictures, but sizes will be limited.
Program Ads
Program Ads– Deadline to place an ad is May 3rd.Reserve your ad today. All graphics and wording must be turned in by May 3rd. Design your own or have me design it for you. Show your dancer how much you appreciate their hard work and how proud you are. Cash Only in class. Ask me for an order form.
Flowers and Candy Bouquets
Pre Order Flowers and Candy Bouquets.- Deadline is May 10th. It’s a theatre custom to give performers flowers on Opening Night/ Show Night. We want to help you make this night special for your favorite dancer(s). Flowers and individual Candy Bars are $2 each. Candy bars will be on sticks to place in flower bouquets. Candy Bouquets are $15.00. Custom made candy bouquets are $25.00. Some flowers and candy will be available for sale at the show, but stock will be limited. Ask me for an order form.
Summer Registration
Summer Registration is May 20th.
Class Pictures- Days and Times
If your class is not listed, costumes have not arrived yet. Picture schedule will be updated outside the dance room weekly. Plan for your child’s class picture to be the week of April 16th or April 30th. If you did not order a professional costume but still wish to participate in the recital, please pay the $10 recital fee today, so I’ll know to find a “costume” for you for your class. Please do not wear additional hair decorations. Hair pieces will be provided. Hair should be neat and out of the face.
